🍏 How to register your MacBook with deeploi

When you register your Macbook device with deeploi, it gets connected to our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system. This ensures your device is secure, compliant, and ready for work without manual setup.

The registration ensures that:

🛡️ Your data stays protected against cyber threats
⚡️ Apps install and update automatically, so your device stays secure
🔒 If your device is lost or stolen, we can lock it remotely to protect your data

🆕 For New Joiners

1️⃣ Select your country and language

Choose the country or region where you are located and the language you want to use.

2️⃣ Transfer your Data

Set up your device as new.

3️⃣ Connect to Wi-Fi

Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

4️⃣ Remote Management & profile download

⚠️ Important: If the window shown below does not appear on your screen, please complete the rest of the MacBook setup first and then continue here.

Select "enroll" to proceed.
Open the deeploi registration email sent to your personal email address „💻 Required COMPANY device registration" on a second device. Here, you can find your personal device registration code. Alternatively, you can ask your IT Owner for your code.
Enter your personal device code from the email in the field shown on screen.
Your company profile will now be downloaded and installed automatically.

5️⃣ Create your Mac account

Set up the local user account for your MacBook. For this, you need to enter your full name, your preferred account name, and password.
Select "continue".

6️⃣ Final set up

Select your Time Zone.
If needed, you can set up Apple Intelligence or skip this step by selecting "Set Up Later".
Select "Continue" with FileVault disk encryption.
If needed, you can set up Touch ID or skip this step by selecting "Set Up Later".
Choose your design.

7️⃣ Installing the deeploi Companion app

The deeploi Companion app will launch on its own and begin installing.
Once the installation is complete, you can finish the process by clicking "Ok". Your apps will then be installed on your device.

⚠️ Please note: Keep your device turned on and connected to the internet!

🎉 Your device is now registered and ready for work!

🔄 For Current Employees

If you're starting your device for the first time and need to set it up, follow this guide. After you've completed all steps, continue with the steps below.

1️⃣ Open the deeploi registration email

Log in to your work mailbox via Safari (e.g. mail.google.com or outlook.com) to make sure you have access to your emails for the following steps. You can find your credentials in our welcome email or from your employer.
Open your mailbox and look for the deeploi email with the subject „💻 Required COMPANY device registration".

💡 Can't find the email? Check your spam/junk folder first. If it's still missing, ask your IT owner to resend the registration link.
Scroll down to the second section and click the „Register" button. Alternatively, you can also register your device via start.deeploi.io and follow the indicated steps.

2️⃣ Confirm your device

Confirm that this is your work device and click „Yes".

⚠️ Important: Only register your work device and never your personal one. An MDM connection installs settings, provides visibility into installed apps and device information, and enables actions such as resets or device locks, which can result in the permanent loss of your personal data.
The code from the email will be filled in automatically.
