What is the Personal Device Registration Code?

The personal device registration code is a unique code assigned to each employee. It is used during device registration and links the device directly to the specific user - enabling faster and more accurate installation of the software they need. 

If an employee cannot locate their registration code, it is still possible to register a device using your email address with a one-time password. However, this method is slower when it comes to software installation.

⭐️ Recommendation: Use the personal device registration code whenever possible. It ensures required software is installed more quickly compared to the fallback method.

Where to Find the Registration Code

New joiners will receive their personal code via email together with their device registration instructions. No need to worry if an employee can't find their code during onboarding — you can always access it directly in the deeploi platform.

⚠️ Please note: The reset will invalidate the current code and generate a new one. 

🚀 During Onboarding

There are two ways to access the code while onboarding an employee, when they cannot access their registration mail:

1. Onboarding Form – The code is displayed as part of the onboarding form.
2. Three-dot Menu – The code can also be found via the menu during the onboarding process.

🔄 After Onboarding

The registration code remains accessible even after the onboarding has been completed. Simply use the three-dot menu next to the employee to retrieve it at any time.
