📘 Where We Store and Manage Your Data

This article explains how we store and manage your organization’s device-related master data and sensitive information like BitLocker recovery keys.

💾 Master Data & Device Information

We manage all relevant device data centrally via our Mobile Device Management (MDM) system. This includes:

• BitLocker recovery keys
• Device types and details
• User associations
• Software and policy configurations

Details:

• MDM system: Fleet DM
• Storage location: AWS data centers in Frankfurt (eu-central-1)
• Access control: Role-based access, limited to a small group of authorized team members (e.g. support or operations) when needed

🔐 BitLocker Keys & Sensitive Information

BitLocker recovery keys and similar credentials are:

• Encrypted and securely stored in our MDM
• Not sent via unsecured channels: We share information securely through 1password links that will expire after 30 days. Only verified emails will be able to access these links.

If a key was ever shared via email, that would have been an exception. We're happy to look into any specific case and ensure that more secure methods are used going forward.
