🛡️ Add an admin account to 1Password

In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to add deeploi as an admin to your 1Password instance.

Step 1: Open 1Password and Log In

  1. Log into your 1Password account (either through the web app at https://1password.com/ or via the desktop app).

Step 2: Go to the Admin Console

  1. In the dashboard, go to "Team Management" or "Users and Groups". Here, you’ll see an overview of existing users and groups within your 1Password account.

Step 3: Invite a User

  1. Click on "Invite User".
  2. Enter the email address of the external user you want to add.
  3. Select the "Admin" role to assign the user the necessary administrative rights.

Step 4: Review and Send the Invitation

  1. Review the invitation to make sure the email address and role are correct.
  2. Click "Send Invitation". The user will receive an email with an invitation they need to accept to gain access to the account.

Step 5: User Accepts the Invitation

  1. The external user should open the invitation email in their inbox and follow the instructions to join the organization.
  2. Once the user has accepted the invitation, they will be listed as an Admin in your 1Password account and have access according to the permissions assigned.
